Larainne works as our part-time Director of Faith Formation. She also works as the Director of Equity and School Counseling in the Ayer Shirley Regional School District. Formerly, Larainne was the Coordinator for Social Emotional Learning and Counseling for the Chelmsford Public Schools and the Director of Upper School Services at Cotting School in Lexington.
Larainne's academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Clark University, a Master of Education (School Counseling) from Boston University, as well as programs in Christian Education (MACUCC) and School Administration (Endicott College). She is certified by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) as a School Counselor and School Principal (PreK – 6). Larainne has previously coordinated Faith Formation Programs for both the Burlington, MA United Church of Christ, and Christ Church United in Lowell MA.
On a personal note, Larainne and her wife Sheri have six children ranging in age from seven to thirty. She is a huge fan of progressive theology, country music, social justice, Facebook, lifelong learning, day trips, realistic fiction, being a mom and the United Church of Christ, where she "found a haven and a home".
