Dear Friends,

Holy Week approaches – who can believe it?! This Sunday, April 9th is Palm Sunday. We will be receiving new members in church this Sunday, so plan on giving them a hearty welcome!

On April 13 we will be having a Maundy Thursday Service (7:00 p.m.) that will be similar to last year’s service. After a light meal (soup and bread), we will celebrate the sacrament around the dinner tables, and then move to the chapel for a brief, reflective conclusion to our worship. People who attended last year (about 40) found the service most meaningful.

Easter Sunday will have us starting with the "Almost Sunrise" Service (7:30 a.m.) brought to you by our most excellent Christian Educators. Breakfast will follow. The Easter Service (10:00 a.m.) on April 16th will consist primarily of music, a brief sermon (OK – most of my sermons are brief, so that may be nothing new), and a bit of liturgy celebrating the Resurrection.

Attending the Palm Sunday and Maundy Thursday services will make your Easter Celebration more meaningful, so I encourage you to attend all three if at all possible.
