The Church at Worship
Watch Live at 10am, each Sunday when we worship in the Sanctuary.

We believe that worship is the heart of faith formation! Here at Centre Church, we seek to gather and worship God in order to grow and nurture our Christian faith in community. The Church of Christ in every age has two defining movements: In-gathering for worship, nurture, and fellowship; and Out-going for mission and service. Our weekly worship style can best be described as evolving as we both honor tradition and evolve with our ever-changing community and world. On Sunday morning you will find us in our sanctuary at 10 am. You are invited to join us either in-person or via our livestream which can be joined via the window on this page. We strive to create worship that is a mix of formal and informal elements, engaging for all ages, and relevant to our daily lives.

As an open and affirming congregation of the United Church of Christ, we welcome to congregational life people of all ages, abilities, nationalities, economic means, genders, sexual orientations, and faith traditions. We typically celebrate the sacrament of Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each month and at several special services during the church year. The Communion table is open to Everyone without exception!

Our children and youth begin Sunday morning in worship. We offer a Mini Message that tells part of the sacred story in ways that are easily remembered by people of all ages. While our children typically leave worship for church school after the Mini Message, on Communion Sundays they return to the sanctuary in time to participate in the sacrament.

The music in worship is varied, including traditional hymns and more recent sacred music accompanied on piano or organ. We believe in the power of music to help tell the sacred story of God’s people and help us find our place in that story.

Worship is led by our Pastor, Director of Faith Formation, and lay leaders of all ages, and accompanied by our Organist/Choir Director, Adult Choir, and occasional guest musicians and/or vocalists.
