Ministry Moments – Joyful Noise

Joyful Noise is the children's music program here at Centre Congregational Curch run by Lauren Donadio and Jill DiGiorgio. We had a great time last year learning about music and faith and sharing performances with the entire congregation. Children ages 3 and up are welcome to join us and all levels of musical ability are encouraged and included. Some members like to just dance along, shout out with joy, or sing to the Lord! We use movement to help enhance our performance and may even get some home made instruments in! This year, we will plan to present our music to the congregation about once a season, starting with a performance to be determined around Thanksgiving. Rehearsals will be held on the two Sundays before a performance at 11:30 in the Sanctuary. Our first rehearsal will be October 9th so we can get to know the children and families. We will collect email addresses so all families can be updated about rehearsals and we can send lyrics/music to those who can't make rehearsal, but would still like to be part of the performance. It is such a wonderful opportunity for our children to be part of the worship service and discover how music can help deepen our faith and fun at church!
